Hi, we’re Carrie and Chad. Like much of the US, we love to spend time outdoors. We are avid campers, with both of us growing up camping in small tents with our family during the summer vacation. Later on, after a trip to Europe and a road trip in a motorhome, we became addicted to the RV way of life back home.
We’ve driven RVs all over Europe, the US and even in Australia and New Zealand. As for camping, we used to do a lot of that when we were a bit younger, but these days, the RV seems to get more attention. So, we know all the mistakes that you can make, and so now we give advice about how to avoid potential issues. We can each individually set up a tent and drive an RV. There are no boys or girls jobs when we are outside traveling. We take turns at everything, and experience has taught us to be better.
We love nothing better than to put our medium-sized vehicle on the road, heading to destinations unknown. It’s a great way to get away and we meet so many great folks along the way.
The smell of the campfire, the noise from the families having fun, the chance to fish, and a chance to see our great country are some of the reasons why we love it.
We also love cooking and when we are camping or in the RV, cooking never comes second. We aim to show you that cooking great food can still be possible if you are traveling outdoors. We aim to keep it simple, with the use of equipment like instant pots and dutch ovens, but we also aim for it to be tasty. Here, we share with you some of our favourite recipes that you too can cook on the road.
